"FINEST FEATHERS" is SWISSCDC’s philosophy!
As a matter of principle, SWISSCDC only offers duck CDCs (Cul de Canard) taken from winter feathers. They made this decision on the basis of the significantly better quality. Ducks breed less in the winter, which means that the appearance of the feathers is considerably better. In the warmer seasons, the breeding ducks are subjected to heat and even greater burdens. This has a particularly negative effect on the quality of the feathers.

Multiloop
Introducing the multiloop tool...
SwissCDC would like to present you another tool from the ever-expanding "Multi" series of tying tools. With the new multiloop, every fly-tyer will be able to create a dubbing loop using a previously unknown technique to process any material. Christian Kuchelmeister has developed a tool which works without the traditional dubbing twister wires in V-position.
A big advantage is that the threads of the dubbing loop always lie together when tightening and there is no gap between them. Other materials, whether flash threads, peacock grass or wire can be easily attached to the tool with a sophisticated fastening method to twist with the material taken up in the loop. This way, it is possible to produce diverse and also very strong dubbing strands.
The tool is the size of a bobbin and is very ergonomic in the hand. Thanks to its perfect balance between length and weight and its very accurate centering, our multiloop tool can be rotated very easily and precisely. The weight and the length distribution of the tool allow it to run very accurately when rotating.
A tool like a Swiss timepiece...
Summary of benefits
The tool is made of matted anti-glare steel
Twisting materials can be easily attached to the tool
There is no gap between the threads
No wires get broken

Multibrush
Christian Kuchelmeister has developed a brush that is far ahead in design and functionality of other brushes . With a weight of only 27 grams, the „multibrush“ sits super-precisely in the fly tyer’s hand like a pen. A very sensitive and precise brushing of flies is possible with the front brush, made of stainless steel. The advantage of the hard, yet fine front brush is allready equal to the usual handling as when writing with a pen. It is possible to brush out even small parts of a fly very precisely. The small round stainless steel brush is predestined for fine work with CDC and hair dubbing. On the back a coarse serrated brush is attached , which can be used to remove the undercoat of trapped hairs in the clamp. The serrated brush is also great for working on voluminous streamers. With the small V-shaped cutout at the rear end, feathers for salmon or front hackles for streamers" can be "doubled" with ease. The pointed spout at the end can be used to do all sorts of jobs that come up at the tying table.
A universal brush in a heavy indestructible quality.
The brush is provided with a consecutive number in production and is therefore unique.

Multiclamp
After SWISSCDC has made a wide range of diverse very good fly-tying materials available to you, they made an effort to produce a fly-tying tool reflecting the quality of our fly-tying materials.
Their employee Christian Kuchelmeister thought a lot about design and practical application and developed a tool in an unrepresented quality and function. Now we can present you the result of our efforts: our "multiclamp". The modern material clamp is made of high-strength stainless steel. The surface is not dazzling. The design is modern but at the same time trimmed for functionality. The clamping range is open so that it is possible to bundle up and work on the trapped material with your thumb and forefinger without any other tools. The jaw is pointed shaped thus it is possible to go directly into the deer hair. Therefore you can take it over the entire jaw width into the dubbing loop. Moreover, artificial material like craft-fur or fake-fur can be picked up directly out of the mat into the clamp. Thus, our multiclamp can be used not only for traditional fly-tying with our CDC materials. So, we address also fly-tiers who must get much artificial material into the loop by tying streamers. A ruler in a 5-mm graduation is lasered on at the jaws so that the material can be tied in in the same amount every time. Another advantage has our multiclamp while using coarser hair dubbing. The loose hair can be picked up from the table because of a small radius at the clamping edge. Our multiclamp is a non-daily multifunctional tool exceling the quality of previous tools. A tying tool in Swiss quality.
